‘An army marches on its stomach’ - spend an unforgettable week providing front line and elite units with “instant meals” - Show them that their sacrifice is appreciated.

‘Morale Booster’ is part of the Emergency Volunteers Project (EVP) “Make a Soldier Smile” project. Both are joint projects of EVP & the IDF (EVP is part of the IDF’s Volunteer Unit). The program’s primary mission, as defined by the IDF, is for EVP’s mobile kitchens, staffed by EVP volunteers to provide front line and elite units with “instant meals” – fresh falafel, burgers, schnitzels, shawarma’s and BBQ’s (with produce provided by the
IDF). Why? Because an army marches on its stomach and our heroes need to know that they are fighting, not just for Israel but for Jews everywhere.

Since October 8, 2023, EVP mobile kitchens have been feeding Israeli troops at staging areas and bases across the country. We have prepared and served over 110,000 hot meals to IDF troops waiting to go into Gaza or on a brief break from combat, on IAF bases, and elite units. This is our way of saying “Thank you” to our brave soldiers who are risking their lives as Israel’s first line of defense.

We are now recruiting teams to continue our work and to help farmers in the Gaza Envelope area who are unable to harvest their crops or prepare for new plantings. We invite you to join our volunteer teams and spend 9 days in Israel at our Jerusalem Logistics Center with accommodation for up to 16 people (4 to a room in bunk beds & ensuite). The facility has a kitchen, rest &
recreation area, and BBQ.
