Who Needs ETIAS?

• U.S. citizens and nationals from other visa-exempt countries traveling to the Schengen Area will need ETIAS.
• This includes travelers visiting for short stays (up to 90 days within a 180-day period) for tourism, business, transit, or medical reasons.

How to Apply for ETIAS

• Online Application: U.S. travelers can apply for ETIAS online through a dedicated website or app.
• Required Information: The application will ask for basic personal information, passport details, travel plans, and some security-related questions. You may also need to provide travel and accommodation details.
• Processing Time: In most cases, ETIAS approval should take just minutes, although some applications might take up to 96 hours for review.
• Fee: There is a small fee, likely around €7 (roughly $8 USD), for adults over 18. Children and young travelers under 18 may be exempt.
